Aditi Rao Hyadri Speaks About Her Estranged Husband Satyadeep Mishra And Broken Marriage
Aditi Rao Hyadri has always kept her personal life under wraps. She had never disclosed her marital status to media until 2013. However, there were rumours that she is married to actor Satyadeep Mishra. Later in 2013, she accepted her marital status and told the world that she and Satyadeep were married but now they are separated.
For the uninitiated, Aditi and Satyadeep got married in 2007 when she was only 21. They met while both of them were studying in school at the age of 17. Stating the same in an interview, Aditi was quoted as saying, “Yes, I got married at 21 to Satyadeep, who was a civil servant and lawyer and gave it up to become an actor. He is a natural actor and is, in fact, playing the second lead with Emraan Hashmi in Danis Tanovic’s next. I met him when I was 17 and that was my only serious relationship”.
She had further added, “It broke my heart when we separated, but only the name of the relationship collapsed as we are friends and are still close. For his mother, I am a daughter and for my mother, he will always remain a son. He is much older to me and always teases me about being his child who he cannot get rid of. Coincidentally, Murder 3 was about a girl picking up her life that I could relate to with my own life”.
Stating the reasons behind keeping mum about her estranged marriage. Aditi said, “I haven’t talked about it in the past and there’s a reason I don’t want to talk about it even now. Somehow, I don’t think that discussing personal stuff in terms of which family I come from or where I grew up, all that is not important as actors. We have to be transparent and we need to take on whatever is given to us, and we need not talk about our private life in open”.
There was a time when Aditi was linked to her Wazir co-star Farhan Akhtar. When Aditi was asked about the same she laughed off such reports and said, “The time duration for which it bothers me reduces with more work that I take up because I just realise that there is more to do. Also, as long as your family and people around you know what’s happening, I think you are answerable to them, and most importantly, you are answerable to yourself”.
She had further added, “You can’t be thinking about anything else. This acting job is such. These link-up rumours are a part of your territory. People will make up stuff about you and make a mountain out of a molehill. It’s fine. Everybody is doing their job and we have to focus on doing
Aditi also revealed why she doesn’t take to social media to comment on the rumours. She said, “If you do that, then you are talking about it even more. What’s the point? So, I don’t see the need to do that. For me, my family, dignity, and self-respect are very important, and that’s the way I have been brought up”.
