Salman Khan Compliments Team Modi In His Tweet
May 30th, 2019 was the day when the nation witnessed yet another historical moment as Narendra Modi took oath as India’s PM and form the government with majority votes consecutively the second time. While many public figures and B-town celebs made an appearance at the oath taking ceremony, many other invited personalities possibly couldn’t make it. But this doesn’t stop them from welcoming the new government.
Salman Khan who has known to be a bit busy lately for his upcoming film ‘Bharat’ couldn’t make it to the swearing in. But he did found a way to compliment PM Narendra Modi and his new cabinet through his latest tweet. On Sunday morning, Salman took to his twitter account and wishing the new India tweeted, “Honourable Prime Minister, congratulations on a splendid team and all my best wishes to the entire cabinet in their endeavors to make a stronger and equal India.”

Salman did attend the swearing in ceremony in 2014 when Narendra Modi first got elected for the Prime Minister. This year it seemed the actor was heavily scheduled. Though many other prominent figures were seen making an appearance at the event including Anupam Kher, Rajnikanth, Shahid Kapoor , Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi and Karan Johar.
Many other profiled names from the dimensions of business, politics and sports also marked their presence at the grand event including foreign friends of over 15 countries. The newly elected cabinet consists of 24 Ministers, 9 of which are the Ministers of State with Independent Charge and 24 Ministers of State.
