Salman Khan Slams Vivek Oberoi For Aishwarya Meme With This One Statement
The meme that Vivek Oberoi shared about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s changing relationship status with Salman Khan, then Vivek Oberoi and finally marrying Abhishek Bachchan and comparing it with the election results has attracted a lot of backlash. Not only the Twitterati but many Bollywood stars have also come out to slam Vivek Oberoi for making such distasteful meme. He was even sent a notice by a Groupon working towards women empowerment for belittling the image a woman. And now, the second person who is included in this meme, Salman Khan, has also shared his views on this meme.
After his tweet, many celebrities shared their disgust and reaction on Vivek’s act, however, everyone waited to see what Salman Khan has to say to it, considering his equation with Vivek has always been rough. During an interaction with media, Bharat Star asked about the meme shared by Vivek. Replying to which he said, “Main dhyan hi nahi deta. Pehle jaisa tweet hi nahi karta, toh memes kya dekhunga. Main kaam karoon ya comments dekhoon. Main bilkul dhyan nahi deta (I don’t bother about tweets anymore. I don’t tweet anymore the way I used to, so how can I see memes? Should I concentrate on work or should I check memes?)”
Last evening, post creating a stir on social media, the actor attended the screening of Narendra Modi biopic in Delhi where he was asked about the meme on Aishwarya. Vivek refused to accept that the meme was bad in taste. Taking to ANI he had said, “People are saying apologise, I have no problem in apologising, but tell me what wrong have I done? If I have done something wrong I will apologise. I don’t think I have done anything wrong. What’s wrong in it? Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it.”
